The Donic Acuda Blue P1 is a standout table tennis rubber designed for players who seek a balance between speed, spin, and control. This rubber features a fine-tuned blue sponge that enhances overall performance, making it suitable for a variety of playing styles. With a speed rating of 10 and a spin rating also at 10, the Acuda Blue P1 captures the attention of both casual and competitive players who demand high performance.
In terms of tackiness, the Acuda Blue P1 scores a moderate 2.6 on the tackiness scale, which allows for considerable grip on the ball without compromising its speed capabilities. This rubber provides players with a medium feel; it’s neither too hard nor too soft, giving players excellent feedback during play. Weighing in at 5.2, it is on the lighter side, promoting faster gameplay and enhancing maneuverability, but it does not compromise on durability, rated at a commendable 7.2.
The Acuda Blue P1 excels in consistency with a rating of 9.2, which translates to reliable performance in matches—ideal for players who thrive on predictability in their shots. For those looking for alternatives, consider the Acuda S1 for a similar yet slightly different feel or the Bluefire series for enhanced speed. Easy to play with
This rubber is easy to play with, especially with the current poly ball. It’s very easy to loop the 40+ ball and spin.
Consistent performance
I felt like I wouldn’t go wrong using this rubber. However, it’s hard to play in long distance.
Versatile
I’m using this rubber on both forehand and backhand.

It has great speed and touch, giving excellent control. The speed is there, the spin is there, medium throw, but it shines in control, amazing. Kinda soft.
Cut has a weight of 45 grams after cutting. Due to its low arch, it resembles Chinese rubbers such as the Skyline Neo TG3, but with increased bounce. It provides similar spin to the TG3 but with significantly improved control due to its more linear trajectory.
I also own the Blue P1 Turbo, which is noticeably faster than the Cut.
Previously, I used the Bluefire JP 01 Turbo. It has a higher arch, which better suits my playing style. However, the Bluefire is heavier at 50 grams when cut, and weight is a crucial factor for reverse penhold backhand strokes.
