Donic J.O. Waldner, I will miss you. Although you are no longer for sale, I cherished using you on both wings, with and without glue.
What is your new equivalent from Donic?
Damn good rubber! It is excellent for the backhand. Additionally, it is not very expensive and lasts a long time.
I played with the Yasaka Mark V for a while, but a couple of years ago, I tried the J-O Waldner rubber with 1.8 mm on the backhand and 2.0 mm on the forehand, paired with a J-O Senso V1 blade.
I like the J-O Waldner rubber better, and I notice that my games have been improving. Particularly, my backhand strokes are more accurate, and I believe the rubber offers many gears that I can utilize in my strokes.
A very durable and spinny rubber that provides great control. If you are looking for a consistent rubber, then this is an excellent alternative.
It’s easy to generate spinny serves and it offers a nice feel for blocking. Overall, this is a Donic classic.
This rubber is very good. It is indeed a spinnier and faster version of Sriver. Additionally, it is super durable. Mine has lasted me around 4 to 5 months.
This is a versatile and durable rubber. It performs competently without glue and improves further when glue is applied.
However, if you prefer soft, high-dwell rubbers, this may not be the right choice for you. The rubber is similar to a slightly spinnier version of the Sriver, though it has a very slight drop in control.
