Nittaku Nodias

Rubber description:

Nittaku Nodias table tennis rubber is an ideal choice for players seeking a balance between speed, spin, and control. It is best suited for intermediate to advanced players who prioritize all-around performance.

The Nodias rubber features a responsive topsheet that generates excellent grip and spin on the ball. It enables players to execute a wide range of shots, including powerful topspins, precise loops, and controlled blocks. The rubber's medium-hard sponge provides a delicate balance between speed and control, allowing for both aggressive and consistent gameplay. The combination of the topsheet and sponge results in a medium-high throw angle that facilitates effortless looping and topspinning.

With a speed rating of 10 and a spin rating of 10, the Nodias rubber excels in creating dynamic spin and maintaining control, even during fast-paced rallies. Its tackiness level of 3 ensures a secure grip on the ball, enabling players to impart more spin and execute precise shots. The rubber also provides good consistency and durability, with ratings of 9 and 8, respectively, ensuring reliable performance over an extended period.

Overall, the Nittaku Nodias table tennis rubber is a versatile and well-rounded option for players seeking a blend of speed, spin, and control. Its medium-high throw angle, coupled with excellent grip and responsiveness, makes it suitable for all-around playstyles, from aggressive attacking to controlled defense.

Overall, this rubber is good for backhand play. However, it does feel a little slow, likely because it is an older model that reached its prime around 20 years ago.

I recommend checking out the newer Nittaku rubbers, such as the G1, Renanos Hold, C-1, Factive, S-1, and P-1.

My favorites now, alongside Tibhar, include the latest options, as Tibhar has become the largest brand in Europe!

I was really excited when I purchased this rubber, as I thought it was a new generation of Reforma, which I love. However, after playing with it about three times, I found it to be unplayable.

The rubber felt slow and unresponsive, often producing strange results. It was horribly disappointing, to the point that I decided to give my sheet away.

Excellent control for a spin attack game. This rubber is very linear and provides a lot of feel. The only disadvantage is its weight; however, Nodias excels in a close-to-the-table backhand game.
