Stiga Genesis II M

Rubber description:

The STIGA Genesis II M is a table tennis rubber designed for dynamic and aggressive players who prioritize speed and spin. With a rating of 153 for speed and 135 for spin, this rubber provides exceptional performance for offensive playstyles. It features a unique Multi-Compound Technology that combines a harder outer layer and a softer inner layer to create a balanced blend of power and control. The outer layer provides the necessary grip and elasticity to generate devastating spin, while the inner layer offers excellent touch and stability, making it easier for players to control their shots and maintain accuracy.

The STIGA Genesis II M is slightly harder than its predecessor, the Genesis, resulting in a more direct response and slightly higher throw angle. This allows for a wide range of shot variations, including powerful loops, precise blocks, and dynamic counterattacks. The rubber's medium hardness sponge, rated at 7.1, strikes a perfect balance between speed and control, making it suitable for players of various skill levels.

One of the key advantages of the Genesis II M is its consistency and durability. The rubber maintains its high performance even after extended use, providing reliable playability throughout matches. It also features a tackiness level of 7.4, offering excellent grip on the ball, which facilitates spinny shots and precise placement.

Overall, the STIGA Genesis II M is an exceptional choice for players seeking a fast and spinny rubber that offers a great balance of speed, spin, and control. Its versatility and consistency make it ideal for offensive players of all skill levels who want to dominate the table with aggressive and dynamic play.

I received a table tennis rubber from a friend and used it only a couple of times. However, I found that it is not my cup of tea.

This rubber is excellent for control and spin. While it may not offer a lot of speed, it excels in providing outstanding control and spin during serves, loops, and chops.

Additionally, it performs very well in the short game. It pairs perfectly with a stiff blade, such as the Stiga Infinity VPS V, and works even better with the Eternity VPS V.

I highly recommend this rubber for anyone who does not prioritize speed but desires maximum control combined with excellent spin.
