Stiga Innova Ultra Light SynergyTech

Rubber description:

The Stiga Innova Ultra Light SynergyTech rubber is designed for players seeking a well-balanced combination of speed, spin, and control. With a speed rating of 131, it caters primarily to all-around players who prioritize topspin and looping techniques. The rubber excels in producing a high degree of spin, rated at an impressive 100, making it ideal for creating tricky serves and dynamic offensive plays.

The tackiness of this rubber is rated at 2.6, which means that while it provides enough grip to generate spin, it isn’t overly sticky, allowing for smoother handling. Weighing in at a mere 1.3, the Ultra Light SynergyTech caters to players who prefer a lightweight setup, which can enhance maneuverability and reduce fatigue during long matches. This low weight makes it an excellent choice for those looking to maintain a lightweight racket without compromising performance.

In terms of durability, the rubber showcases a reasonable consistency rating of 8.5, albeit with a durability score of 5.9. This suggests it may not withstand extensive play as long as some heavier alternatives might. However, many players have highlighted its strong performance in controlled environments like 1 and 2 star tournaments. For alternatives, players may consider Stiga’s normal Innova rubber for more aggressive power or other brands’ offerings that emphasize speed over spin. Overall, the Stiga Innova Ultra Light SynergyTech rubber stands out as a versatile option for players keen on developing their skills in looping and spin-oriented gameplay.

I have this rubber in 2.0 mm sponge on my 2nd racket BH. This rubber is not as fast as the manufacturer details say. Spin is quite good. The best thing about this rubber is its control. It can block easily and it is not so sensitive for incoming spin. This rubber probably won’t blow your mind away, but for sure it won’t disappoint you.

I thought this rubber offered excellent performance. However, I discovered that it was not very powerful and performed weakly. It is only suitable for beginners and is best for looping practice.

This rubber is neither exceptional nor poor in performance. The speed is mediocre. The spin is superior to the speed, but it remains balanced overall.
