Tibhar Hybrid K3 Pro

Tibhar K3 is a wonderful rubber for advanced players looking to take their game to the next level. I personally use it on my forehand with the Pro (harder) sponge. The rubber excels at brushing serves, spinny openings, and counterlooping. In general, the short game control is quite good as well, since it’s less bouncy than the normal ESN rubbers with the more easily activated catapult effect. You should be swinging pretty fast with good technique to get the most out of this rubber, so it’s not well-suited for beginner to intermediate players. Smashing is not ideal with it either, so I tend to twiddle to deal with lobs but it’s not absolutely necessary to deliver a powerful flat hit. Durability is the only thing this rubber isn’t optimized for, meaning if you play 4+ times a week you’d probably want to replace this once every few months to keep its original properties.

Rubber is very good, but when it comes to durability, that’s where its weak point lies: approximately 3 months.

The K3 Pro is an awesome rubber to use. I’ve used the D09c for quite some time on the forehand but ever since I switched to the K3 Pro, my forehand has been more engaging. Plus, on the serve and serve receive part, it functions like D09c but the catapult effect goes to the K3 Pro.

My preferred choice is the K3 rubber. I tried the ordinary K3 but found it a bit too soft after switching from Hurricane 3 Neo. I found this rubber better for topspin and blocking, and I found that it continued to play well whereas the normal K3 did not seem to retain its grip for long.

I think it does not have a good bounce. For me, K1 is better.
