Control and Power for Precision Play

Hurricane 3 rubber excels in control, providing precise and reliable stroke execution. It offers slightly reduced spin compared to its Hurricane 3 counterpart, but compensates with substantial explosive power, allowing for dynamic and forceful shots. This combination of control and power makes it an ideal rubber for players seeking precision and potency in their table tennis game.

Every new release of the MX series gets better and better. Over two years ago, I chose MXP over MXS because I preferred the direct feeling (like Butterfly T64 over T05). I felt MXP was like a higher spin T64.

When MXP 50 came out, I started using it immediately and it was a good step forward over the standard MXP. I feel MXK (H) is just another great step forward. The speed is the same as MXP 50, but everything else is improved.

My first time using it today and I needed only minor adjustments. My practice partner today was a lefty 2100/2200 (US rating) player and he agrees that the ball has more spin and kick off the table than my other setup with MXP 50 (same blade). Serves are shorter and I have to add a little more energy into the pushes probably because of the harder sponge. Blocks and chops were better as well.

It’s quite a bit more expensive (at least right now) than MXP 50, so it’s a player’s choice: better game or easier on the wallet.
