I am an advanced level player from the UK. I believe the characteristics of this rubber surpass V > 20 Double Extra due to the fact that, in my opinion, the serve receive game is the biggest difference. The slightly softer sponge allows more flexibility and versatility when receiving serves. It also maintains the power of V > 20 Double Extra in the rallies. Playing against backspin is significantly easier due to the amount of spin you are able to generate and the extra bit of absorption created by the softer sponge. The downside is the counter topspin game. I struggled when people hit the ball hard in the rallies. You have to arc the ball more, but it doesn’t take long to get used to. In my opinion, the best rubber Victas has released, having tried V 20 Double Extra, V15 Extra, Triple Extra etc. V 20 Extra surpasses them all.
