Before I review this rubber, I want to make it clear that it was not designed for the modern game. It clearly requires speed glue. However, major brands do not lower their prices or recommendations, so I will review this as a modern rubber.

Firstly, I will discuss the pros, though there are few to mention.

The rubber seems to provide well-controlled pushing (backspin) and blocking. However, the blocking feels more similar to Yasaka Antipower, which I don’t believe was intentional. Additionally, it can counter-topspin reasonably well, even with an open angle. It also appears to be durable and can last for years. While it may not retain its original quality, the rubber seems to always have a bit of life in it.

Now, let’s move on to the cons. Firstly, the speed is extremely slow, and it offers no real power. There are bats from Rebel Sport at the high end that have comparable power.

Secondly, it has an exceedingly small amount of spin. It’s difficult to quantify just how little spin it produces, but I would say it is similar to most short pips.

The rubber also lacks the ability to grip the ball or maintain control while spinning, resulting in very poor looping capability.

As for price recommendation, I suggest $3.50 USD.

You may think this is an exaggeration, but let me explain my reasoning. I recognize that this rubber is not up to standard, and you might assume it’s suitable for beginners. However, to accurately gauge its quality, I applied it to a very cheap blade. On the opposite side of the blade, I used a Tuttle 2013, which is an entry-level rubber available for no more than $10 USD. The Tuttle 2013 provided more spin, more power, more control, and better gripping ability than the Mark V AD, making it a far better option for a beginner. Therefore, it simply doesn’t make sense to pay $30 USD for a rubber that fails to compare to a $10 USD alternative. I hope this review helps.

Review:

Karet ini benar-benar aneh.

Saya merasa bahwa produk ini sama sekali tidak layak untuk dibeli.

The table tennis rubber offers excellent control, making it suitable for players who prioritize precision in their game. Additionally, it excels at looping, providing impressive spin and trajectory for powerful shots. Overall, this rubber is a fantastic choice for players looking to enhance their skill set on the table.

At first, I found it quite uncontrollable, but I believe that was because I wasn’t accustomed to it.

Overall, this rubber is very spinny; however, it lacks sufficient speed and control. It has a medium-high throw angle, which makes it less suitable for players who prefer to play close to the table.

Awesome rubber, good price, and durable.

The rubber is nice and features a soft, non-tacky surface that is still grippy. It excels in looping and topspin attacks, making it easy to execute these shots. Additionally, it performs well for blocking.

While the serve is decent, it may not produce as much spin as some Chinese rubbers. However, it offers high dwell time and good control, making it a reliable choice for players.

I believe this rubber was designed to be used with speed glue, so my experience with it may not be entirely fair. Overall, it is a good rubber that loops and blocks well, but I know it is not the right choice for me.

I have two main complaints about it. First, it comes with virtually no tack, and whatever tack it does have disappears within a few days of playing. While this is not a significant issue, it is more of a personal preference for me.

Second, without gluing, the rubber feels somewhat like hitting with a shag rug. I never really get a good feel for the contact. Although I am playing with the maximum thickness, I have used other max rubbers with similar density that provided much better feedback.

In my opinion, the classic Mark V may be a better choice than this rubber.
