Review of Yinhe 9000 E Medium Table Tennis Rubber
After using the Tuttle Octopus rubber on my FH for nine months on a Stiga Hans Alser 5-plywood blade from the 1970s, I switched to the Yinhe 9000 E Medium on a DHS PG 5 (ALC blade). The difference in speed and spin was remarkable. I could suddenly execute powerful winning shots on my FH and generate decent spin.
For players transitioning from the beginner level, the Yinhe 9000 E Medium is an ideal rubber, offering a great balance of performance and affordability. Its durability is excellent, especially with regular cleaning. I’ve primarily played outdoors in various weather conditions, including winter with snow, spring, and summer, and after ten months of use, it remains in playable condition.
Just got it yesterday. The rubber is great overall. High control with above average speed is excellent for beginners. As a beginner myself, I used it on an old 5-ply wooden blade. The vibrations I felt guided me through my first playing session.
Putting it on the FH, it was pretty tricky on the serves but great on looping and counter looping. Chopping was overall consistent.
However, the rubber is not so tacky. It cannot stick a ball off the table.
Overall, the rubber is fantastic for its low price and is easy to get used to.
To me, when boosted, this easy-to-play-with rubber is better and cheaper than H3NPO. The speed is 7.5, increasing to 8.8 when fully boosted.
