Easily one of the best rubbers for counter-attacks, this product fits perfectly on my backhand.
I’ve been playing with two Sun Pro pink sponge rubbers on my backhand for about 11 months. Paired with the Galaxy T1 blade, the Sun Pro offers great speed. However, the control is not as good as I had hoped. If you play an offensive style, this may not be a significant issue for you.
The biggest problem I’ve encountered is the tackiness. To maintain top performance, you must clean the rubber frequently—possibly after every match, which may seem excessive. The rubber is so sticky that it collects dust, particles, and lint from clothing, making regular cleaning essential.
I’ve been using the Sun Pro Chinese sticky version on my forehand for about two days.
The rubber provides a good feeling and has a tensor effect that I find superior to the Galaxy T11, which is an off-carbon blade.
I believe this rubber is ideal for advanced non-professional players, especially considering its excellent price point.
After playing with the Sun Pro 36 white sponge for about five hours on my backhand, I found it to be an interesting experience. Although it’s designed primarily as a forehand rubber, I felt it lacked the necessary spin to suit my playing style.
In my opinion, this rubber is better suited for flat-hitting styles rather than those that rely heavily on spin. Overall, while it may not fit my needs perfectly, it could work well for others who prefer a more direct approach to their game.
