This is the first and only balsa blade I’ve tried. Due to problems with my shoulder, I wanted to try playing with a lighter bat. I was a little bit skeptical about the balsa feel, but was pleasantly surprised when I tried it for the first time. It felt very similar to my Treiber Z, just much lighter with a “crisp” feeling and almost no vibrations. I can’t think of a better balsa blade. Its lightness makes the moves from my arm from right to left a bit faster (without hurting my shoulder). It is powerful and fast close to the table. Away from the table, its lightness makes it a bit harder to strike powerful countershots.

I like this blade, but my shoulder is better now, so I am back to playing with my Treiber Z which I prefer.

Very light Balsa Carbon blade with a dominant carbon feeling. The balsa is probably only there for the exceptionally light weight, as the blade does not really exhibit other balsa-like traits.

The throw is on the lower side, and the ball leaves the blade in an instant, providing speed but limiting spin.

Blocks and counters are strong and lightning fast with reasonably offensive rubbers. Smashes may suffer somewhat from the feather weight of the blade.

This is not a blade for defending or chopping, but a close-to-the-table attacker who only takes a step away to close in for the kill again will find it an interesting and viable choice.

Without a doubt, this is a blade for someone who plays a very controlled offensive game who also requires a very light setup. When assembled with light rubbers, whether due to injury or simply preference, this blade is ideal.

I tried it because of a wrist injury sustained in a bicycle fall and needed something lighter to minimize pain. The final setup, using Ten05 (FH) and Spinpips (TSP) on the BH, resulted in a 22g lighter setup, which was quite remarkable.

The feeling is quite remarkable for a blade with Balsa. The carbon plies provide a less fluffy feeling and a nice “cracking” ball feeling on contact, providing speed and great counter capabilities. Straight drives are also possible with this blade and Ten05.

Playing with pimples is great, although I am going to get the setup tested very soon by a master with short pimples, Zengyi Wang.

Lightweight and fast with very good control.

Due to a shoulder injury, I felt I needed a lighter blade but still with good speed and control. After playing with it for about 6 weeks, I am extremely happy. A good feeling for chops and blocks with enough power for attacking shots. I am using it with a Stiga DNA Platinum Hard (black max sponge) on the forehand and Rasanter R48 (red max sponge) on the backhand. Excellent assembly and speedy delivery from TableTennis11.

Very fast blade. Small weight, but not enough sensitivity for me.

I’m not a professional player. I bought it because of a recommendation on YouTube. I think this blade is good for me. I use this blade with Andro Hexer Powersponge and Donic Acuda S2. The blade is very lightweight.

I love this blade. It is very light, with no vibrations. I was playing with boosted Chinese rubbers that made my Ma Long 5 blade set up very heavy. This blade makes the set up a lot easier to play.
I liked it so much I bought another and use DNA - it is a great set up.
As always, TT11’s service was great. The blade arrived quickly and at a great price, even with the courier cost.

Very good blade for attacking and blocking close to the table. Therefore, your technique should be pretty good.
