Blade description:

The Donic Burn ALL+ is a well-regarded table tennis blade that balances speed and control impeccably, making it a favorite among players at various skill levels. Constructed from a combination of mahogany, awan, and kiri, this five-ply wooden blade delivers a touch of elegance while offering excellent performance. Its design targets players who appreciate a versatile, all-round playing style, proving effective in both offensive and defensive maneuvers.

Weighing approximately 80g, the Burn ALL+ falls into the medium weight category with an overall thickness that supports a satisfactory level of stiffness (6.3) and hardness (6.9). This construction provides players with an excellent feedback experience, facilitating precision in both blocking and looping strokes. Many users have noted its great control characteristics, rated at an impressive 85, which helps maintain focus during mid-distance play. However, some players have voiced concerns regarding its speed; while it provides good control, it may not reach the velocity expected from its performance category.

The Burn ALL+ exhibits a reasonable degree of flexibility, allowing players to adapt their shots according to various playing styles. Those exploring alternatives may find the Donic Burn OFF or even the Andro Kinetic series appealing, as they offer different speeds and handling characteristics. Overall, the Donic Burn ALL+ is a reliable choice for players seeking a high-quality blade that emphasizes control without sacrificing the ability to execute effective attacks.

Review:

I paired this blade with the Andro Rasant PowerGrip FH and the Andro Rasant Grip BH. My experience with this bat was that when I was playing, the blade had a significant amount of vibration. Also, when the ball hit the bat, it made a hollow sound as if the bat was made from plain wood. However, the bat is powerful and I can also use it for blocking.

Very good blade in combination with Tibhar Genius Sound. Good control close to the table and at middistance. Far away from the table, this blade lacks some power. Overall, a very good blade.

Update: I now use some thinner rubbers, and the speed dropped very much. It’s a can-do-everything blade. Use faster, thicker rubbers for more speed while maintaining good control. Good attacks as well as good defense.

This blade turned out to be a real disappointment, as I quickly lost all control over my shots. Despite its light weight, it felt slow and sluggish. The only positive aspect I found was that my blocking improved slightly during rallies. However, I would not recommend this blade for competitive play. I am hoping that I can still return it.
