All-wood
Too fast for defensive play. The overall quality is low, and the construction appears to be rough.
This is a particularly slow blade with a balsa core.
It has great control but must be matched with the right rubbers. I use a tacky rubber, usually Hurricane 3-50, on the forehand for low-arcing loops. I use long pips on the backhand for good chopping defense and close-to-the-table blocks.
This is the new version with a single balsa core and glass fiber plies.
I picked up this blade as a spare. I tested it with Donic Bluefire JP01 1.8mm and a couple of different long pips. Chops are just as good as the more popular Defplay Senso V3, and it is much faster on flat hits and smashes.
Despite being a balsa blade, you still get pretty good spin on loops. If you tend to attack with more speed than spin, I would choose this blade over the Defplay Senso V3.
The wood is lightweight and very inexpensive.
More importantly, it performs better than some other, more expensive wood brands.
Compared to the Defplay Senso, this blade is totally different due to its BALSA CORE, making it much softer. Both Defplay blades are capable of producing slow but great arcs and nice strokes with high stability.
It offers excellent performance with a FH pimple-in and BH long pips when playing near the table. However, it’s too soft for chopping with long pips with a sponge or soft long pips. If you want to generate more spin, choose a harder blade.
With hard long pips, it facilitates both great attacks and blocks. With soft long pips, it excels at blocking. When the opponent makes powerful hits, you may feel significant vibration and lose some control. Adding hard rubber to the other side can mitigate this issue somewhat.
This blade with a balsa core is very suitable for close-to-the-table long pips defense. When paired with harder long pips, it allows you to attack as desired. While the speed isn’t extremely fast, the placement is accurate. It’s stable for chopping with no-sponge long pips, but not ideal for generating more backspin through your own power when chopping.
When paired with Japanese or German rubbers, topspin shots have excellent arc. Although the speed is slow, the ball release is direct and efficient. However, the blade’s softness can occasionally lead to dropped blocks. Using a harder rubber can reduce this issue.
This blade wasn’t for me, but after trying a few punches with it, I was really content with the feeling. I liked the speed too.
Combined with LKT Pro XP and RITC 802-40, it made for a really good, cheap defender racket.
One of the best defensive blades. Using it with the correct rubbers will be perfect for both beginners and professionals.
Special thanks for your service! Delivery time was impressively fast (OFF+).
Not slow, this blade allows for easy switching between defense and attack. It’s my current favorite, and I now own four of them.
It’s not the same as the picture; it’s no longer blue, but the color of wood. However, it’s a good blade and serves the purpose for which it was made.
Good).
I have been using this blade with Dignics 05 FX 2.1 and Cloud & Fog 3 1.1. It is faster than I thought.
However, even with Tenergy, it provides a satisfying feeling of control. Compared to bottom-up movements, it is more likely to produce effective spin with top-down movements.
A nice, very light blade, ideal for beginners or casual play.
I have received the order, very good wood!
Good price. Perfect for defensive players.
Good control.
