Nittaku Hino 7.22
Blade description:
The Nittaku Hino 7.22 is a high-quality, composite blade crafted from Kiso Hinoki wood. Featuring a unique 4-layer synthetic carbon construction, it delivers a distinctively “crispy” yet soft feel upon ball contact. While it performs at an OFF/OFF+ speed level, it maintains a degree of flex and vibration feedback that aids in touch and precision.
Playing Characteristics
- Feel and Feedback: The blade is noted for its smooth, energizing sensation during forehand drives and topspin loops. It provides clear, crisp acoustic feedback without feeling overly hard.
- Performance: It excels in offensive topspin play while retaining enough stability for reliable blocking and control near the table. The flex in the blade contributes to its ability to generate rotation and maintain consistency.
- Physical Build: As a made-in-Japan product, it features high levels of craftsmanship and finish. Due to the materials used, some units may fall on the heavier side of the spectrum, which contributes to a solid, premium feel in the hand.

10/10, the best blade I’ve ever played with. The quality and finish are also 10/10.
Consistency and control are excellent, earning another 10/10. The packaging was beautiful.
The only downside is that it’s on the heavy side. Mine weighed 91.5g.

Very fast blade, very thin, and has a good vibration feedback.
Recommended for advanced players.
