Very good defensive blade,
which, with changing to very fast rubbers,
can be played with as an offensive blade!.

Setup: Actium + FH: Mark V + BH: Donic Coppa Jo Gold

Counter Play: Both forehand and backhand counterplay are excellent and provide nice feedback. There’s a very good feeling, allowing you to quickly identify areas for improvement.

Blocks: The blade offers exceptional control. Blocking is effortless, and if you encounter difficulties, it may indicate a technique issue.

Loops/Top-spins: Whether forehand or backhand, looping is effortless with this blade.

Speed: The speed is rated as medium-low (using HL5 as the highest speed reference point).

Consistency: The Actium is remarkably consistent.

Serves: Controlled serves with ample spin are achievable. The moderate speed enables precise placement near the net.

Push: Pushing is fantastic, allowing you to place the ball accurately. Even when pushing near the table’s edge, the ball remains low.

Chop: Chopping with the Coppa Jo Gold may be challenging, prompting the use of Mark V via twiddling. The smooth edges near the wings facilitate this transition. While keeping the ball on the table is manageable, optimal chopping performance may require a pimple rubber.

Verdict: After a week of testing, the Actium proves to be a well-made and balanced defensive blade. It smoothly transitions into an attacking mode at any distance from the table. This blade is highly recommended for modern defensive players. While it may not be ideal for players preferring an in-and-out attacking style, it will appeal to those seeking an all-round playing experience.
