Victas Black Balsa 3.0

I bought this blade together with Vega Pro FH and Super Glanti. I know this blade will be sloooooww, so I varnished it, and sandpapered the excess. I’m a close-to-the-table style of player with a strong FH and twiddle sometimes. This combination is a little slow for the first time, but if you loop FH you’ll find that it has sufficient speed, but sometimes for me it is inconsistent, not like 7-ply wood or carbon, but it has ample speed. Need to train to place the ball with speed at table corners. Changed rubber to Hurricane 3 Neo Prov orange sponge and on loops it’s really loaded. My opponents say that upon landing on their side of the table, the spin of the ball bites the table and accelerates towards them.

I’m developing my strokes as a beginner/intermediate player and this bat gives me a much better feel, however the blade is really thin. I’m able to control my shots and the blade absorbs a lot of fast balls from opponents. I’m using Tibhar Evolution FX-P on both sides and loving the combination of faster rubbers and slower blade. Even though the quality of the blade is amazing, I won’t buy another thin blade as I’m scared it may break if I accidentally hit the table.

Light and extra-slow blade.

The weight and control are just perfect. The slimmest blade ever seen. Aesthetically gorgeous as well, especially if you like black. Great!

Very lightweight! Use this blade with long pimple. Excellent! Just need a very fast rubber on other side to support attack.

The head thickness is approx 4mm and the blade is very light. You might want to consider those when choosing rubbers. I got a 60g and they said it was the heaviest they have in stock back when I ordered. ST handle is 2428100 so it was not bad. The fibre glass in the blade gives it quite a sharp feeling. Or I may be wrong. The feeling makes it easier for me to control the ball and gives me confidence that I can attack with it, despite being a def blade.

An experienced player can attack easily against this blade.
