Blade description:

The Xiom Diva is a remarkable all-wood table tennis blade that has garnered admiration for its blend of speed, control, and overall performance, making it a favorite among players of varying skill levels. With a composition of five plies, this blade strikes a perfect balance between stiffness and dampening, allowing for excellent feedback during play. Its 5.7mm thickness contributes to its unique feel and responsiveness, making it an ideal choice for players who emphasize precision and ball control.

Weighing in at a medium range, typically around 74g, the Diva maintains a light profile that supports quick maneuverability without compromising on performance. Players frequently highlight its superb control, particularly in blocking and topspin scenarios, which is further enhanced by its relatively low bounce and stiff construction. The hardness rating of 5.3 ensures that players can execute strong shots while still feeling the feedback needed for finesse play.

The Xiom Diva is most effective for players who prefer a close-to-the-table style, excelling in short game tactics and counter-attacks. However, it may not be the best fit for those who rely heavily on aggressive, long rallies or high-spin looping shots, as reviewers noted a desire for additional speed at greater distances from the table. Alternatives such as Tibhar Stratus Powerwood and Donic Blue Feeling have been cited for their similar characteristics, but the Diva offers distinct advantages in terms of control and feel.

In summary, the Xiom Diva stands out as a top contender for players seeking a reliable, cost-effective all-wood blade that excels in control and blocking without sacrificing essential offensive capabilities.

Amazing blade for this price. It offers a great deal of control. Perhaps as you progress over time, you may find that it lacks the speed necessary to attack your opponent. Nonetheless, it is still a very high-quality choice for beginner players.

This blade is not fast. Its speed rating is ALL++ and weighs 74 grams. The blade has a tendency to absorb the incoming ball. It is not flexy (-5.2) and has a hardness of 5.3.

The blade is very good for blocking the ball. Its construction is koto-ayuos-ayuos-ayuos-koto, but the three layers of ayuos are symmetrical and identical in thickness.

This blade is very balanced and suitable for beginners to intermediate players.
