A bit tacky, almost no tensor effect, very consistent, very durable. I’ve recently switched to penhold style, and this rubber helped me to improve my RPB quite a lot.

42-degree Blue Sponge
Medium tack, lowest profile of pips seen, quite wide. Played on FH of a Sanwei Fextra (6mm 7ply).

Controllable and dead in the short game, lively rebound at medium speed, excellent grip on flicks and serves. Hitting hard yields a low-throw shot that is also spinny.

Preferable to faster forehand rubbers. Can hit at max speed, sponge stores energy and loads more spin, resulting in faster shots with only marginally longer trajectories. This may not apply on a slower blade.

After boosting, it is not the same rubber. Pretty slow, even in max thickness. Much spinier and faster. If you are on a budget, you have to buy it.

Got this for my daughter (10 years old) who is now picking up the sport along with myself. The rubber is cheap but has reasonable speed and spin compared with the original rubber that was on the blade. It has allowed her to better work on her technique of looping while maintaining good control. Very good for the price.

The soft version has more catapult and spin. Same reaction with the plastic ball like the softer version. With the plastic ball era, some old rubbers have lost touch… But this rubber is weird; when we played drills for 2 days, it seemed to perform better with plastic balls in terms of catapult but lesser in spin. While with the older balls, it’s spinier but less catapult. It’s great for hobby rubber and starter rubber. It’s really just best to save a little bit of money and buy the h3.

It was my first rubber on a preassembled racket. For beginners who are learning PP, this is a good conventional rubber. It has average speed and control, good spin, and it’s durable. It works better on stiff blades.

Quality is good in reference to the price quoted for purchase.

This is somewhere between H3Neo and Yasaka Mark V, with a little lean towards the Neo. It’s not very tacky, but has plenty of grip.

For the low, low price, it’s fantastic to throw on a backhand if you’re unsure of what to use, or use it on both sides of an All+ blade for a beginner on a budget.

This rubber is too slow for me. Played for a couple of weeks and hated it completely. If you don’t like very slow rubbers, skip this.

This rubber is very cheap, very spinny, tacky for serves, up close play with good control. It is great for beginners and for all kinds of game: 1.8 defense 2.0 all-round 2.2 offensive

729 Classic is an older technology Chinese rubber. I paired it with a harder sponge to make it considerably faster. I have to attack to utilize its looping capabilities. However, it has lost some of its touch and control.

When new, it looped well due to its tackiness. But once it lost its tackiness, I had to hit it hard to make it loop effectively. It’s a very durable rubber. I maintained its tackiness by using a grip spray.

I haven’t tried this one with a thick sponge yet, as I played it for fun with a 1mm sponge. Of course, I played some defense with it, and it was awesome. Well, I’m far away from being a defender; however, I could chop on loops so that the ball almost touched the edge of the net. And yeah, it had tons of spin thanks to the tacky topsheet. I just had problems chopping slow and spinny loops because they were hard to keep low.

Anyway, I guess I will try this one tuned with a 2mm sponge or so and redo my rating.

By the way, getting this much quality for such a low price is absolutely amazing.

This rubber was too tacky and hard for me. It was very good when I was a beginner, but it held me back once I improved. The price is great for what you get.
