In my opinion, the Nittaku Moristo DF is an excellent rubber for all-around players and modern defenders. I have used it on my backhand for a few years, and I can confidently recommend it.
The rubber offers exceptional control, moderate speed, and decent spin. This combination makes it easy to block balls and execute precise returns exactly where you want them on the table. Additionally, it enables you to transition smoothly from defense to offense when you want to attack.
Moreover, the durability of this rubber is outstanding.
To sum up, my rating for Nittaku Moristo DF (on a scale of 1 to 10) is as follows:
Speed = 8.0
Spin = 8.5
Control = 9.2
If you can find it, I highly recommend buying and trying this rubber. It is exceptionally good.
This rubber is great for the backhand. I find it particularly effective for blocking, pushing, and smashing.
It’s also nice for looping. It’s not just for defensive players; attackers can use it as well.
Don’t hesitate to try it—you will appreciate the characteristics of this rubber!
In my opinion, Moristo DF is a fast rubber for defense. I have used both Moristo DF and Tackiness Chop II on my Joo Se Hyuk blade.
Before switching to Moristo DF 1.5mm, I played with Tackiness Chop II 1.7mm. After playing for a month with the Moristo DF, I plan to return to Tackiness Chop II, as it remains the best defensive rubber on the market today!
