In my opinion, the Nittaku Moristo DF is an excellent rubber for all-around players and modern defenders. I have used it on my backhand for a few years, and I can confidently recommend it.

The rubber offers exceptional control, moderate speed, and decent spin. This combination makes it easy to block balls and execute precise returns exactly where you want them on the table. Additionally, it enables you to transition smoothly from defense to offense when you want to attack.

Moreover, the durability of this rubber is outstanding.

To sum up, my rating for Nittaku Moristo DF (on a scale of 1 to 10) is as follows:
Speed = 8.0
Spin = 8.5
Control = 9.2

If you can find it, I highly recommend buying and trying this rubber. It is exceptionally good.

This rubber is great for the backhand. I find it particularly effective for blocking, pushing, and smashing.

It’s also nice for looping. It’s not just for defensive players; attackers can use it as well.

Don’t hesitate to try it—you will appreciate the characteristics of this rubber!

In my opinion, Moristo DF is a fast rubber for defense. I have used both Moristo DF and Tackiness Chop II on my Joo Se Hyuk blade.

Before switching to Moristo DF 1.5mm, I played with Tackiness Chop II 1.7mm. After playing for a month with the Moristo DF, I plan to return to Tackiness Chop II, as it remains the best defensive rubber on the market today!

Pros:

  1. Speed: This rubber is suitable for modern defensive players who attack more often than they chop the ball. In comparison, Tackiness Chop II 1.7mm was much slower than Moristo DF 1.5mm.
  2. Durability: The durability of this rubber is quite good.
  3. Price: It offers great value for the investment.

Cons:

  1. Control: There is less control while chopping due to the speed of the rubber.
  2. Spin: It generates significantly less spin compared to Tackiness Chop II.

Quería felicitar a Tabletennis11 por el buen servicio que ofrece y la rapidez de los envíos a España, que está lejos. ¡Muchas gracias!

You can generate great spin on your serves and pushes. The feeling of rubber tension is great.
The attack is nice. High arc, mediocre speed, but nice spin. The feeling of ‘can’t miss’ is here.
However, I have some thoughts that the price is too high.

Though this rubber is recommended for defenders, it is fast even at 1.4 mm. Better for blocking and driving rather than chopping. Services are very spinny.

Rubber is faster than advertised. Control is great.

For close-to-the-table defense, chopping from a mid-distance is ineffective.

Using this 1.8 rubber on the Butterfly Hadraw blade on my FH. Awesome spin and control. It can also loop close and far from the table. Choppers, give it a try to elevate your game.

I have been using this rubber in 1.8-1.9 for over 3 years on an all-around blade. It offers great spin and durability. I am a two-wing looper, a close-to-the-table attacker, and have no trouble brush looping very heavy underspin on either wing. I have tried Tenergy 1.9, but prefer this rubber due to the control it provides. I recently bought Revspin but have not had a chance to try it yet.

Amazing spin with good control and moderate speed.
[Spin: 9/10; Speed: 7/10; Control: 9/10]

At last, I have found the perfect backhand rubber for me :)

Strong recommendation.
