Stiga Almana Sound SynergyTech

Rubber description:

The Stiga Almana Sound SynergyTech is an exceptional table tennis rubber that combines speed, spin, and control in a truly unique package. Designed for offensive players, this rubber excels at producing powerful shots with a satisfying “click” sound, reminiscent of speed glue effects without the health concerns associated with volatile compounds. With a speed rating of 166, it delivers an explosive performance, making it ideal for aggressive playstyles.

In terms of tackiness, the Almana Sound SynergyTech rates a 3.3, offering a moderate grip on the ball that aids in generating spin while allowing for smooth performance on various strokes. The rubber incorporates a sponge hardness of 3.3, providing the right balance between softness and firmness for maximum control and feedback, essential for executing tactical shots. With a weight of 3.4, this rubber maintains a low profile, minimizing any excess strain and allowing for quick maneuverability during fast-paced games.

The durability of the Stiga Almana Sound SynergyTech is rated at 5.7, indicating decent longevity for those who use it regularly. While it may not be the most durable option available, players appreciate its ability to maintain performance levels after extended use. For those seeking alternatives, the rubber’s balance of speed, control, and spin can be likened to the Donic Supersonic s40 or even the well-regarded Butterfly Bryce Speed FX for players who value offensive capabilities with a more pronounced spin aspect.

Overall, the Stiga Almana Sound SynergyTech is highly recommended for players at all skill levels, from beginners looking to enhance their game to seasoned professionals in need of a reliable rubber for competitive play.

The best “soft” rubber I’ve played with. It has a beautiful feeling and “click” sound. I balance it with softer Butterfly blades such as Grubba or Korbel (softer EU) or Korbel JAP or others with more flex. It’s perfect for technique progress or for players who still want softer rubber. I always use it at maximum thickness on the forehand. It’s a Euro-JAP rubber produced for celluloid 40mm.

Good control.
Faster than my DHS Hurricane 3 Neo.
Works great on my Yinhe T10+ balsa carbon blade.
