First Impression!

  • Slightly tacky.
  • Rated as soft, but it feels medium or medium-hard.
  • The rating “soft” is like soft on the Chinese hardness scale, but it is not soft compared to ESN rubbers.

On my ALC Blade

  • It is bouncy.

Awful hybrid from Stiga made in China. (Stiga does not make ANY rubbers in Sweden. Only blades.) This was a very strange rubber to play with, with many negative feelings. Avoid. There is a reason that they have now discontinued it and made a better one, Genesis 2! Maybe around Genesis 8 it will become good. Tack is gone after 2 trainings…

Stigas lame try at combining euro-jap-china is so bad that we used to make jokes about it at my job (with tt).

Great for topspins.

Great control on both slow and fast shots, very effective when looping against backspin. While not the fastest rubber, it provides enough speed to put the ball away. It gives you the confidence to control the point from start to finish. The rubber is medium to medium-soft and has exactly the right amount of dwell for my aggressive loop style. It is an excellent rubber if you can create speed on your own.
