This rubber is very versatile and underrated for sure. It works exceptionally well on an all-round blade, and I used it on a Stiga Allround Oversize. The combination is excellent, providing a good mix for various playing styles.

It excels in executing different kinds of loops, particularly brush loops. The best experience comes when looping against heavy underspin. With the tensor rubber I’ve previously used, I could only loop one or two times against heavy underspin before hitting the net. However, with this rubber, you can power brush the ball over the table, adding a substantial amount of spin. This often puts your opponent in a difficult position, making it likely that they will miss before you do. So, swing big!

That said, I did find the control to be a bit disappointing during opening loops.

On a positive note, smashes are also very effective with the Mendo rubber. Additionally, pushing and chopping techniques work well too.

Overall, this rubber performs best when adding spin to the ball or executing smashes.

Mendo is a proven performer worldwide and is a great choice for all-round offense. It offers very good control, decent spin, and controlled speed.

As one of the better rubbers from Stiga, its soft sponge provides a safe, higher throw angle similar to that of Mark V.
