Review:

Tendo experimentado inúmeras borrachas pegajosas, como H3N e H3Nitaku, classifico esta borracha híbrida como uma ótima opção para aqueles que buscam ou apreciam borrachas do gênero.

Esta borracha não requer reforço em seu primeiro uso. Sua esponja oferece excelente desempenho, superando as H3N DHS e Bate II 729 (esponja azul).

Embora nenhuma borracha se compare à quantidade de giro das borrachas chinesas, esta borracha se destaca em comparação a outras. Recomendo-a para o forehand, pois a alavanca é mais consistente do que o backhand.

A durabilidade é outra questão notável, pois a borracha não apresenta desgaste mesmo após mais de um ano de uso. Ocorreu um leve desgaste no meio devido a drives frequentes, mas ainda mantém sua consistência para todos os golpes de forehand.

Cabe destacar que esta borracha aceita bem o uso de reforço, tornando-a ainda mais divertida devido ao som “de tijolo” e à pegada constante durante as trocas de bola, mesmo com efeito.

Em suma, classifico esta borracha como tendo um ótimo custo-benefício, pois é acessível e atende bem aos requisitos buscados em borrachas chinesas e alemãs.

Atualização (13/07/23):

Após testar diversas borrachas pegajosas, a K2 ainda permanece como a melhor dentre K1, K3, C2 e 729 Batle (esponja azul).

Em comparação com a H3 Nitaku Turbo com reforço, H3N básica e H8 com reforço, todas elas são excepcionais. A K2 é adequada para jogadores intermediários, enquanto para jogadores avançados, a melhor combinação é com reforço. Essas citações (“reforço = H3, H3N, H3NT”) são relevantes para aqueles que buscam velocidade, giro e controle.

A durabilidade também é um atributo notável desta borracha. Uso-a há quase dois anos e continua intacta. Jogo e treino diariamente por cerca de 4 horas e ela não perdeu a aderência. Não pretendo adquirir outra borracha por enquanto.

I use this rubber on the forehand. In my opinion, it is better than T05.

Review of Hybrid Chinese/European Rubber with Hard Sponge

Since Butterfly announced Dignics 09C, I’ve been eager to experience a hybrid rubber, given the surge in their release. This is my initial foray into a hybrid Chinese/European rubber with a hard sponge.

Performance

Unfortunately, this rubber did not meet my expectations. Its consistency for pure brush stroke loops was unsatisfactory. When paired with a Joola Kool blade, renowned for its speed, my loops from a distance often either hit the net or soared over the table. Additionally, there were instances where the ball slipped through the rubber, resulting in the ball going under the table. This issue is foreign to me when using grippy rubbers such as Tenergy or other Japanese/European variants, which exhibit exceptional consistency with brush loops.

Conclusion

I’m curious if this inconsistency extends to other hybrid rubbers. While I still intend to try Dignics 09C, I will opt for a second-hand purchase due to my reservations.

DHS Hurricane 3 Neo Review

The DHS Hurricane 3 Neo table tennis rubber features a 54-degree sponge and a Chinese tacky topsheet combined with a German sponge. This rubber is known for its excellent performance on the forehand, enabling players to execute fast and controllable shots.

Compared to the K1 (or K1 Plus) rubber, the Hurricane 3 NEO offers enhanced hitting characteristics. It is easier to make passive blocks with this rubber, making it a more suitable choice for players who prefer a defensive style of play. Overall, the Hurricane 3 NEO rubber provides a superior playing experience for those looking to improve their forehand shots and defensive capabilities on the table tennis court.

Placeholder while I get used to it. Wanted something that would block/smash a touch better than H3, while still keeping the same dangerous services. Tacky topsheet, more European sponge, so services are still pretty amazing, and blocks are a bit better than H3 (though max power loops aren’t quite as absurd). Seems really good.
