Tibhar Hybrid MK FX

Excellent rubber with nice control and spin. Has enough speed with carbon off blade.

I switched to this due to a lighter weight on BH. It is a little faster and quite a bit softer than my old Chinese rubber. The switch was in conjunction with a blade switch. The blade was an off-rated 7-ply all-wood blade. I ended up with a lower throw, which I like—not as hard to keep the balls on the table as I was afraid of.

More spin-sensitive, which makes serve receive and the short game a little more tricky. I need to watch out so I don’t end up in long “push” duels, which I will lose most of. Due to the lower throw, it opens up quite easily, and that’s a good thing. We shall see how we get along… I might stick with this one.

Anyone who tries to go from tensor to hybrid should try it. In speed, it is not very speedy, more or less like an ALL+ rubber; a great overall hybrid rubber. I use it on the BH where I can hit more with control.
