I am a C-pen user and I use Apollo 5, black, H40 for my forehand. The control is consistent, the speed is average, but the spin is awesome. I love its gear.

Very similar to Big Dipper, with comparable speed, although it may be marginally faster. In terms of tackiness, it is stickier than Big Dipper but less tacky than H3. Notably, it offers the ability to pick up a ball from the table for brief periods.

As a forehand rubber, Jupiter 3 excels with exceptional spin and power.

Furthermore, I believe Jupiter 3 utilizes a sponge and topsheet that closely resemble those of Big Dipper.

Use hard 40-degree max in blade Butterfly Innerforce Layer ZLC. Good control and spin without loss of speed. I like it.

I use Apollo 5 on Yinhe Pro 01 and Andro Treiber CI on forehand. This rubber is great for spinning, and its smash accuracy is also very good. However, it is not very fast. The rubber has a hard and heavy character but has good control and is very suitable to be paired with a flexible blade. One downside is that the durability is not great, and the spin ability will quickly decrease in a not-too-long period of time.

Best rubber for flat hitters with a clicking sound! I consistently make accurate smashes with this rubber. It is quite hard, so it pairs better with a flexible blade. The spin is alright but nowhere near Tenergy, Rakza, Rasanter, or Fastarc. Boosting the rubber does help increase the speed and spin, but you also need proper technique to execute quality spin.

The rating here is overrated, especially for spin. I can’t believe some people gave it 10 out of 10! That’s absurd! They probably haven’t tried using Tenergy or Rakza 7 rubber. I would give it 8.5 for spin and 8.8 for speed, and I’m being generous.

This rubber is very direct and more speed-oriented. It’s good for 3rd attack, chop, and counter smash. It’s also insensitive to incoming spin. I recommend this for those of you with a limited budget, but don’t expect it to be as good as the world’s top 10 rubbers.

One of the best rubbers I have tried for forehand. You can loop, hit flat, and generate spin with this rubber. It offers superb control. Give it a try, and you won’t be disappointed.

Apollo 5, Red, H36 glued on a 729 V-6 blade (Forehand). I’m used to the softer versions of DHS Skyline TG2 NEO, Yinhe Big Dipper, DHS NEO Hurricane 3 etc.

On flat hits I feel that there’s more control than the previous mentioned rubbers. Good for blocking. When it comes to looping, after another training session, it’s quite easy to loop with good control. With good foot work and technique this is a looping monster.

The throw angle is kind of low. I’m used to rubbers with a bit higher throw, but when I play this, I can’t feel that it would be a problem with a lower throw. The ball only goes a bit faster towards my opponent, and that can’t be wrong :) There is a nice, almost cracking sound when you hit the ball. Especially on flat hits.

I feel that the short game is relative easy as well. The sponge is hard. Harder than the earlier mentioned rubbers. When I used the rubber my first session, it felt much more difficult to use in many ways, but now it feels like the rubber changed after some hours of play.

The spin is superior, like the best Chinese rubbers. The speed is not as fast as NEO Hurricane 3/2 or Skyline TG2 NEO. More like Big Dipper then… Weight cut: 51g.

First time using this rubber, I feel very comfortable. It’s good for drives and flat smashes. The spin feels like T05, but it has less speed. I like this rubber a lot.

Very good hybrid class rubber, very all-round.

This rubber produces exceptional ball play and can control the ball very well. I am currently using Garaydia alc, T05 & Apollo 5 as a powerful weapon.

After using Tenergy 05 and Hurricane Neo 3, I switched to this rubber and was pleasantly surprised by its versatility. It excels at looping, but it also performs exceptionally well for flat smashing. I have paired it with the Zhang Jike ALC blade, and this combination has become my favorite.
