It takes a bit to get used to this rubber when new. After that, it is acceptable.

When cutting the rubber to the shape of the bat, use a very sharp cutting tool, like a large sized surgical blade. This will save you from checking if the rubber is cut all the way through. Otherwise, you run the risk of the top sheet separating from the sponge when checking the cut.

Excellent rubber, cool combination with all wood blade for forehand.

However, the quality is very poor. The topsheet separates from the sponge very quickly.

This long-lasting tacky Chinese rubber offers good speed and ample spin. It comes in various sponge densities.

I tested 40, 39, and 37 degrees. Each exhibits expected properties: harder sponges are heavier, faster, and have less dwell time.

Softer sponges may suit choppers, but I prefer medium to hard, as I like to sense the ball’s contact.

Sponge hardness is a key consideration in any review.

This rubber pairs well with a fast blade like the T11+. Its tackiness outlasts other 729 products I’ve tried, including the black 729 SP.

With regular cleaning and protective film applied post-use, this rubber maintains its ability to pick up and hold a ball even after months of heavy use. Its durability is impressive.

If you favor tacky Chinese rubbers and desire sponge density options, give this one a try!

The worst rubber I have ever tried. The sponge felt off the second day.

v 2 is not number 2 in my opinion. It’s good rubber, but not too fast for my number 10 blade, Galaxy 9000. 3 Star is better.

Blade: T-11

Venus 2 37 degree 2.0

This upgrade is better than the base Venus and plays very well for an inexpensive rubber.

(34deg. red max)

This rubber excels on the backhand but struggles on the forehand. Its ball throw is very low on fast strokes. However, it performs well with blocks, flicks, punch-blocks, and other wristy techniques, producing a satisfying click sound. Looping with this rubber is not recommended.

Its marketing says it’s an alternative to expensive Butterfly products, so I bought one. It’s not even close, but it plays well (as always with Chinese rubber, its potential comes after a few hours of playing). Its tackiness is gone after a few hours of playing, but it still has a decent grip on the ball.

This rubber is the best ever! It’s also very cheap. It excels in attacking play.

You read and hear a lot about YinHe/Milky Way Moon and Sun rubbers, but Venus 2 is of similar quality. Overall, it is a 10 out of 10. The value for dollar is excellent.

I have had this rubber for two weeks. It is a really good rubber, especially for the price. I recommend this rubber for okay and very good players. It’s a good all-around rubber, fast, and has good spin.

Pretty amazing rubber! I use the red for my forehand and the black for my backhand. The red is tackier than the black.

Both have so much spin and power! They are amazing for loops and chopping.

I use the Galaxy Y-4 blade, and the combination gives so much feel for the ball, loads of control, and so much speed and spin.

Best rubber ever for the price!
