Andro Gauzy HL CO OFF
Blade description:
This composite blade features a 5+2 construction, utilizing thin layers of KVL Carbon to provide a stiff feel with minimal vibration. Designed with a balanced weight distribution that avoids a head-heavy feel, it offers a consistent, wooden-like touch despite its composite core. The blade typically weighs between 81g and 90g, providing a manageable base for various rubber combinations.
Performance Characteristics
- Control and Feel: The blade excels in control-oriented play, making it highly suitable for blocks, precise loops, and serving. The stiff nature of the KVL carbon ensures that the ball leaves the surface quickly, providing a clean, direct feedback sensation.
- Playstyle Suitability: It is particularly effective for players operating close to the table who rely on flat hits, controlled serves, and consistent placement. Because the blade lacks significant internal catapult for mid-to-long distance power, it is recommended to pair it with rubbers in “max” thickness to compensate for speed and generate necessary depth.
- Technical Considerations: While excellent for aggressive blocking and controlled topspin, its stiffness and low vibration profile may feel restrictive for players who prefer a traditional, flexible “looping” feel. Due to its forgiving nature, it serves as a reliable option for developing players looking to refine their stroke mechanics and short-game precision.

Good blade with good speed.

The blade is very well made and balanced, with no head heaviness. I paired it with Rasanter R42 max on both sides.
It’s not a fast blade, but it has very good control, making it very easy for blocking and looping. I can also say that it’s very good for low spinny serves.
Short pushes are a little bit tricky (at least for me), but after some practice, it’s fine. The blade is stiff and has almost no vibration, thanks to the KVL Carbon.

I have tried many different blade and rubber combinations and have pretty much settled on this blade. I use Rasanter 53 max on the red side and Rasanter 47 max on the black side. I get very accurate shots and can add plenty of spin and/or power. I am a lower-level intermediate player. I find that this combination gives me confidence that I have the correct racket for me.
And, it’s all at a price point that I consider affordable.
