After testing a few frames to work with my Long Pips, I realized that I’m not a defender or chopper, but I wanted to attack with it. Therefore, I wanted a faster blade. I already had the Andro Kanter FO, but it was too bouncy.

So I tried a few 5 or 7 ply woods, but nothing felt like a real fit. Until I got this one. With my softer/slower FX-S, it suits me perfectly. I can attack low over the net with spin and loop if needed. It’s also great for slow blocking or fast blocking.

For the Long Pips, I needed to be able to attack with it, not just a fast push but a real hit. It’s perfect for that. I feel that the reversal is a bit lower, but for me, the attack is most important. I had good control and good feel. It was a bit heavier than others I tried, but it didn’t feel heavy, probably because of the balance.

And what’s most amazing is that a few blades didn’t feel right in my hand. They were either too small or too smooth. When I took this one in my hand, it felt very good and fits well.

I think this blade has an amazing feel. It’s not a slow blade, but it’s also not crazy fast. It has a lot of control and good flex, so spinning with this blade is amazing. Counter looping is out of this world, especially with the C48 on both sides!

The blade did not meet expectations. Very sluggish. Good control, but speed is OFF-.
