My Power 7 is a ~20-year-old veteran — repaired a few times from smaller injuries, such as a slightly broken neck, but is still a monster. My fingers actually curved their way into the wood. But it’s a family member, so… : D

I just love the feeling of this blade. Its responsiveness and control give me the confidence to execute my shots with precision. It excels at counter attacks and looping when playing close to the table, making it a formidable weapon for aggressive players. I have paired it with Tibhar Nianmor on the forehand and Stiga Boost TX on the backhand, creating a combination that perfectly complements the blade’s characteristics and enhances its performance.

Apart from my other blades, I own a blade that I refer to as my Wild Horse (Tibhar Genius+ in FH and Tenergy 25 in BH).

With this configuration, it offers incredible speed. As I play close to the table, it took me a few days to acclimate to the control, especially when returning short balls with a chop. The ball often became an easy target for my opponents to smash.

After practicing extensively (5 hours per day), I noticed a significant improvement. I gained control over chops with this 7-ply blade, and my pushes from close to the net became formidable due to its power and the Tenergy 25 on my backhand.

Within a week (with only about an hour of play during weekdays), I regained my topspin, which had also become quite powerful. While I experienced a slight decrease in loop, it wasn’t significant enough to be a major concern.

This blade is highly recommended for aggressive/tactical players who adapt their playstyle to their opponents. It is particularly suitable for power players who prefer flat shots from mid-distance. However, if you play close to the table and rely heavily on spin, consider a less speedy 5-ply blade with the same type of rubbers.

The handle is remarkably comfortable, enabling quick flicks and rubber side changes (FH to BH) to surprise opponents. I successfully employed this strategy against a blocker during a topspin rally, switching from my FH Tibhar to the Tenergy 25 seamlessly. The opponent was caught off guard by the sudden change in spin.

Overall, this blade is recommended unless you are a dedicated close-to-the-table spinner or a novice player who may struggle to handle a 7-ply blade.

I love the feeling of this blade. It’s fast and has really good control. I use it with T05 and it’s easy to loop. The control is very good and I love blocking with this blade. I think this is the best choice in this price range.

The Power’s compact head and powerful construction enable it to excel at quick top spins and counterattacks when playing close to the table. Its seven-ply wood construction provides a solid foundation for precise shots.

The Power’s combination of power and a compact head makes it excel at quick topspins and counterattacks when playing close to the table. Its construction features seven plies of wood, which provides a blend of control and responsiveness.

I really like the feeling of the handle; it’s very light, so you might have to pair it with some powerful rubbers. I used it with Sriver fx, and you need to put quite a lot of energy into it to loop fast.

A great quality blade for close to the table hitting.

Great blade for close to the table hitters and looping close to the table. Good ball feedback for a 7 ply blade. Nice feeling FL handle. Unfortunately, Butterfly has discontinued this excellent blade in the USA.
