Blade description:

The DHS Hurricane Long blade is a high-performance offensive table tennis blade that is renowned for its exceptional speed, control, and consistency. It is a popular choice among professional and amateur players alike, and it has been used to win numerous major tournaments around the world.

The blade is made from a combination of five plies of wood, including kiri, limba, and hinoki. The kiri core provides excellent feel and control, while the limba and hinoki outer plies give the blade its impressive speed and power. The blade is also quite stiff, which makes it ideal for aggressive play.

One of the most notable features of the DHS Hurricane Long blade is its large sweet spot. This means that players can hit the ball cleanly and with power even if they do not make perfect contact. The blade also generates a lot of spin, which makes it difficult for opponents to return the ball.

Overall, the DHS Hurricane Long blade is an excellent choice for players who are looking for a high-performance offensive blade. It is fast, powerful, and has a large sweet spot. It is also very consistent, which makes it a great option for players of all skill levels.

The best speed with good control I ever used, FINALLY I STARTED USING THIS PLY. Before I was using this one, it was good but Malong stated using the other long-3, long-5; so I got interested & bought those. But the main thing is those handles are not coming in ST handle, but still I bought the FL at the time of Olympics which they released, I have given the review in that blade itself U can chk that. That ply is very good in power & good control with lots of sweet spot & variation. If it comes in ST I will def buy that. Malong-5 That one is ok, but not that much best like long-3 & 1. Malong-1; This one is only ply coming in ST ,FL handle so no other option I have to choose this, This ply is really fast & also got very good control. for serve, ret, backhand TS, FH TS, every thing it has got, But applying this ply is acc to u’r reqd strokes is very important. It is fast next to CC7 STIGA That is very very fast but control is worst. I have used other malong also, this got more speed compare to other malong series, For control I shifted to long-3, but this is also too good to control but requires experience. But if you start using this U will really love that. For that only I started using hurricane in my FH side which is very slow & control is also easier. My BH is good so I put T-05 on my BH side. I think this review will be useful before spending so much money on this. my rating is 9.8/10 for this one.

My combination is FH-DHS Hurricane NATIONAL-BLUE SPONGE BH-TENERGY-05.

This blade has excellent speed. Its control is reasonable for its speed. I use Cornilleou Target Sound for my forehand. and Cornilleou Pilot Advance for my backhand. The speed is outstanding. The control is lower than my previous blade, Cornilleou Aero Off+ Soft Carbon (much cheaper than this one, really worthy for the price). However, the control is not too bad. It is one of the best options for highly offensive players and is obviously not intended for defensive play.

Update: As it was my third blade, I had not realized the true value of this blade. I have since tried Hurricane Long III and the famous Timo Boll ZLC. Hurricane Long I has much more power. It is very thin and highly durable. It can even withstand hard strikes better than my Timo Boll ZLC. In short, it surpasses all my previous blades, including Hurricane Long III and Timo Boll ZLC, in terms of speed. And it has reasonable control. I have tried almost a dozen blades, but finally, I switched back to this one! It is truly exceptional.

Now I just need to compare it with a Super ZLC blade as a final step to confirm that there is no more suitable blade for me in the world!
