Donic New Impuls 7.5

This is the blade I bought a couple of times because it works fantastic with very hard rubber like DHS — Nittaku turbo blue 2.0mm. Feeling, control, and speed are very good. I recommended this setup to my friend, and his game leveled up a lot.

This blade has such good control!

I have the first released way back in 2000. Unfortunately, I misplaced it. This blade really improved my attack capability using DHS Nittaku Turbo Blue sponge. In serves, my friends have more difficulty in receiving. This blade works really well with hard rubber. A great feeling during topspin and underspin.

With its fast speed, soft feel, and excellent control, this blade offers a well-rounded playing experience.

Very good control, but it’s not as fast as described in the specs. IMO, it’s more like an off-. It’s quite heavy (mine is 92g).

I feel it’s soft like the sound it produces. The long dwell time gives possibilities to topspin, despite the stiffness given by the blade’s thickness.

Blocks are safe, but because of the softness of the outer ply, you need to be more active. The power of the opponent’s shot is not enough.

I feel it like an all Hinoki blade, maybe I’m wrong, but that’s how I feel it, like a Septear for example. Flat strokes give a dead feeling of the blade, a short curve that’s why it helps me a lot in the short game.

All in one, I’m happy with it, I can adjust my game to it. The finish is awesome, when you touch the wood it gives a velvet feeling.
