Donic Original Dotec ALL+

Donic Original Dotec ALL+ - main

Blade description:

This blade is a lightweight option that prioritizes touch and precision, making it well-suited for players with a controlled and calculated style. It offers a balanced performance profile, providing sufficient power for both close-to-the-table play and mid-distance rallies when paired with the appropriate rubbers. Users note that it excels in service variations and allows for accuracy in topspin execution, preventing the overshoot often associated with high-speed blades.

Key Characteristics

  • Construction: This is an all-wood blade.
  • Handling and Ergonomics: Features a unique cork handle with a contoured shape designed to provide a secure, sweat-resistant grip. While the handle geometry is unconventional, it accommodates various playing styles, including those utilizing long pips or inverted rubbers.
  • Performance: Offers a moderate speed profile with a high degree of control. It is particularly effective for defensive mid-play and strategic attacking. The blade provides reliable feedback for blocking and recovery shots.
  • Operational Requirements: The blade demands an active playing style, particularly on the backhand, as passive play can lead to inconsistencies. It is highly versatile, allowing players to adjust the overall speed of the setup by choosing faster or slower rubbers to match their developing skill level.

Excellent blade. The grip was perfect, especially for those who tend to sweat a lot in their hands; now the blade is not slipping. Good control and moderate speed, perfect for me who tends to exert excessive force on drives. I highly recommend it for anyone who has a more controlled and calculated style of play, a defensive medium, with attacks at strategic moments.

This blade provides great control and touch. As an intermediate-level player with a dominant FH, I like the level of control that this blade provides. I also like the comfort of the Cork Handle and keyed contour for the FH and BH. As my skill level improves, I am able to use faster rubbers while still being able to have great control and touch. It also provides great power when required, close to the table and away from the table. Depending on your style of play, the choice of rubbers will make this a perfect match for the all-around style of player that uses inverted rubber on both sides.

Of course, the handle is for experimental enthusiasts. I have been playing for a month and improving every time. I think I will get used to it in half a year. I put Stiga Airoc M on the right and DHS C7 on the left. Tops used to fly off frequently. Now the tops are more precise. There is both speed and control. Amazing control on the left, but you can’t play passively. Then it’s either the net or an overshoot. I used to play with Butterfly Balsa Carbon OFF+ Butterfly Tenergy 05 and Dr.Neubauer Tornado. The service at tabletennis11.com is very good. The order arrived within one day.
