Hi all… This is my first blade, which I got 5 years ago as a beginner. I use it with Donic Bluefire M1 Turbo on the backhand and Donic Bluefire M3 on the forehand. The time I am using it is so fantastic; the weight together with the rubber still feels light. This made me win 2x in different tournaments. Absolutely a gorgeous blade.

This unique carbon blade combines the advantages of both carbon and wood blades. The thin carbon layer preserves the blade’s flexibility and feel, making it resemble a premium wood blade with an extensive sweet spot and exceptional blocking capabilities. Despite featuring carbon, the blade doesn’t exhibit extreme speed, resulting in an “Off” categorization.

While the blade tends to be weighty, its slightly smaller head size compensates for this by allowing for a few grams of rubber to be cut off. Consequently, the blade’s overall weight is partially offset.

The blade’s construction exudes high quality, surpassing even some high-end Butterfly blades at a significantly lower cost.

Blade Review

Cons: — Low speed — No control — Feels like a piece of plywood

Pros: — Good for beginners looking for a cheap option

Overall: The blade is not recommended for experienced players due to its lack of speed and control. However, it can be a good option for beginners who are just starting out and looking for a budget-friendly blade.

A great blade with a good balance of speed and control. It could be a bit lighter since my blade is 92g.

#5 — January 2019

This blade offers an impressive performance-to-price ratio. Priced at around $40 during a sale, it delivers exceptional stiffness with minimal vibration. The outer plies’ softer composition provides excellent dwell time and remarkable control, leaving me astonished by its controllability.

Update (01/16/2019): Further testing and rubber changes have enhanced my appreciation for this blade. Mine weighs 93g and measures 6.1mm in thickness. I equipped it with Yinhe Big Dipper (38 degrees) on the forehand and Palio AK47 Yellow on the backhand, resulting in a light rubber combination. The racket’s total weight is a relatively light 178g. Despite the hollow handle, it exhibits only slight head-heaviness. The FL handle is thicker than Stiga’s offerings.

The Ovtcharov Senso Carbon offers a solid OFF-speed rating. Notably, its throw angle is exceptional, surpassing that of all my other blades. I’ve tested the Nittaku Acoustic Carbon Inner and Stiga Intensity with the same rubbers, categorizing their throw angles as medium-high. While the speed of the Senso Carbon is comparable to the Acoustic Carbon Inner and Intensity, its higher throw angle provides greater safety and control.

If you’re seeking a controllable carbon blade at a budget-friendly price, this option is highly recommended. It offers ample speed for powerful players and sufficient dwell time for various stroke styles.

This blade is amazing. It has great control and spin potential. The dwell time is long, allowing for precise shot placement. The blade is also very well-balanced, making it easy to maneuver.

I’ve been using this blade for a week now, and I can confidently say that it’s the best blade I’ve ever played with. I’ve tried blades like Viscaria, Ma Long 5, Fang Bo ALC, Victas LFC, and Stiga Infinity VPS, and while each of them had its own unique strengths in certain aspects, this blade combines all of their best qualities.

It excels in every aspect of the game: serves, receives, power loops, spin loops, short game, soft and aggressive blocks, control, and more.

I highly recommend this blade for offensive and all-around offensive players. It’s an exceptional all-rounder that will elevate your game to the next level.

Mine weighs 89g, paired with Tibhar m xp (2.1mm FH) & Andro Rasant Grip (1.9mm BH). It’s light, well-balanced, fast enough, and has a good handle with a large sweet spot. I like this blade a lot.

#9 — July 2016

The blade provides excellent spin and control, allowing for precise shots with minimal effort. Despite its offensive capabilities, the blade maintains a remarkable balance, ensuring stability and consistency during gameplay.
