Best defence rubber I tried. It changes the whole game, and it makes the chop block very secure. I am generally a topspin attacker, but I use this rubber often to return balls that would normally be hard to reach or just to add some variety to the game.

A Supreme Chopping Blade

This blade is indeed slow, oversized, and offers exceptional control. It enables you to effortlessly return balls with minimal effort, as if the blade itself is guiding them. Its impact absorbs vibrations, making it the most effortless chopping blade I’ve encountered. Even with Tenergry 05 on both sides, its control exceeds expectations. For an even more comical level of control, consider using it with defensive rubbers like Tackiness Chop.

A Slight Drawback

Its slow speed is its only flaw. It exhibits significant flex, which translates into vibrations and a distinct “doink” sound. However, this flexibility has enhanced my offense, resulting in more game wins. My attacks, while not as fast, are highly accurate and rarely miss the table. When playing aggressively, it does have a slightly mushy feel.

Exceptional Chopping Performance

For defense-oriented players, this blade is ideal. Chopping becomes effortless, and blocks, while slower, are precise. I found myself laughing during rallies, as it seemed every ball I hit landed on the table. Compared to blades like Defplay, Xiom Aigis, Matsush*ta, and JSH, it offers significantly more flex.

Recommendation

Consider this blade if your game style emphasizes chopping over attacking. For those who prefer attacking, a faster blade is recommended. However, in terms of overall control, this blade performs admirably. While using a slow blade may not be considered “manly,” the results have been undeniable, and perhaps in amateur table tennis, simply getting the ball back on the table is sufficient to win matches. I recommend trying a slower blade, even if only to test its potential.

This is an excellent, high-quality oversize blade with great feel. It provides heavy feedback and pairs well with Razka 7 for FH rubber, although I doubt it would work well with tacky Chinese rubber. I highly recommend it for choppers and off-the-table defense.
