All-wood
Wonderful blade. The best one I’ve tried. It offers amazing control and touch. It’s easy to play with. It’s no longer in production. Really, when you start using it, you won’t want to play with any other.
Since I wanted to have a second blade with short pips on backhand (took the Armstrong Attack3) and quick spinny forehand, I tried the Nittaku Torua blade with Yasaka Rakza 9 rubber, which was too quick with my former blade. The feeling is great, looping is easy, smashing is powerful, and it works well with short pips. It’s really a great blade, close to my first blade, which is the Xiom Aigis.
I just bought the blade today and tried it with 729-5 on both sides. I hope it will be good and will review the result. Anyway, I’m a beginner. Thanks for reading.
I agree with Xufy. Torua is an all-around blade, not offensive. It is mid-slow and precise, making it suitable for all-rounders or modern defenders. It pairs best with 1.4-1.7mm rubbers.
However, Nittaku (on their website) classifies this blade as SLOW AND SOFT.
TORUA NITTAKU is the best with hard or medium-hard sponge rubbers (2.0mm or max). It provides perfect off-racket. It provides perfect all+/off- very durable blade. It is ideal for offensive and control game. It’s made in Japan!
Perfect all-around blade.
I purchased this blade from a Japanese website. I am hoping that it will arrive before September 21st.
I decided to buy this blade because most of the powerful and spinny rubbers on the market are difficult to pair with carbon, especially for players who are still developing their game. I believe that it is important to always return to the basics.
I will provide a review of the blade once I have had the opportunity to test it thoroughly. Thank you for reading my thoughts.
Definitely too slow for offensive games. Good control. Rather heavy.
This is a very good and soft ALL blade.
The ALLminus blade is a classic ALL blade designed for players of all levels. It is made of a combination of five different wood layers, including limba, ayous, and spruce. The blade is well-balanced and has a medium flex, making it suitable for a wide range of playing styles.
It provides good control and feeling, allowing players to make precise shots with ease. The blade also has a good amount of speed, making it possible to generate powerful shots when needed. Overall, the ALLminus is a versatile blade that is well-suited for players of all levels who are looking for a good all-around blade.
