Tibhar Balsa Fibretec 75

I bought this blade as an intermediate player. I paired it with Xiom Vega Intro. The blade had a very high throw angle; the third loop always ended outside the table. Just not my style or a bad rubber combo.

Plusieurs considérations:

• Les notations de vitesse et de contrôle sur d’autres revues et d’autres bois sont de l’ordre du grand n’importe quoi. C’est extrêmement compliqué de se fier aux notes dans ces conditions.
• Des caractéristiques additionnelles telles que nombre de plis, l'épaisseur (important) et le point d'équilibre du bois seraient bienvenues.
• Il serait bienvenu de la part des auteurs des revues de préciser systématiquement quelles plaques ils ont utilisées.

Sur le bois lui-même:

• Le poids de ce bois est de l’ordre de 70-75g, pas 60.
• C’est un bois assez épais (9.3 mm) et ça surprend au début…
• … Et comme c’est du balsa, c’est aussi un bois très sonore. Un énorme “POC” quand on joue. Personnellement, j’adore!

Pour le contexte, je suis un joueur très offensif qui affectionne les bois légers, j’ai très jeune joué avec un Tibhar Patrick Chila (+Speedy Spin/Black Techno 1.8) puis, plus récemment, avec un Tibhar Rapid Carbon Light (+2 Rakza 7 2mm). J’ai souhaité à un moment avoir une raquette tout aussi légère mais un peu moins exigeante que le Rapid Carbon Light et me suis tourné vers le Fibretec 75 qui est un peu moins nerveux. Bref, j’ai utilisé le Fibretec 75 pendant 1 an avec du Xiom Vega Japan 2mm monté de chaque côté et voilà ce que j’ai noté:

• Le bois est très agréable à jouer. Il vibre beaucoup et j’aime cette sensation. Sonorité très agréable également.
• Pari tenu par rapport au Rapid Carbon Light: bien plus de contrôle.
• Pari également tenu par rapport au Chila: nettement plus dynamique, on peut envoyer fort à la table, et à mi-distance.

Ceci dit:

• La qualité de fabrication est à revoir: au bout de 2 semaines, les inscriptions “Fibretec 75” seront effacées par votre sueur.
• Au bout d’un an, un pli extérieur s’est fêlé sur 3-4 cm… Un bois fragile, donc.

This blade has everything you wish for - SPEED, CONTROL, and is very maneuverable, and the price is more than decent.

Good blade.

Despite being a balsa blade, it is super spinny on slow shots, with Mk hibrid on the forehand and Friendship 804 on the backhand. It is light, weighing 156.4g for the fl handle and 149.5g for the an handle. If you want more spin, use gewo glue; if you want more speed, use revolution glue. Hope this helps.

This blade is quite thick compared to other fast blades, so if you put on 2.1mm rubber on either side, it will look very thick. Overall, it is very fast yet very light. You get better control and there is a catapult effect that is difficult to handle by the opponent.

This blade is awesome. Very light yet fast. I bought DHS Hurricane 3 on both sides and it’s a good combination. I can do flips and flicks without any problem. For the price of less than $60, you can’t go wrong with this. I’m happy that I tried it.

Very good blade!

This is an awesome blade, but it is way too fast to put a tensor on it. Try it with a slower rubber. Maybe a Chinese tacky rubber and it might work for you. I sold mine because I couldn’t control it.

Great quality of this racket, very light but firm for FH and BH shots, this is the first classic racket I acquire; great quality and excellent value for money. Great for quick attacks. Point to mention is the quality of the material. I had the opportunity to train with a BTY Timo Boll - 7 ply - and it leaves nothing to be desired, now it’s just to improve the movements.

I have been using this blade for 6 months. It is very light and fast. It works well with Tibhar ELS. Amazing speed and control when used with the new Butterfly Rozena 2.1 rubber.
