Rubber description:

This rubber is a tensor characterized by its accessible, linear performance and forgiving nature, making it a frequent choice for beginners or those transitioning from classic, non-tensor rubbers. It provides a balanced experience that favors control and consistency over extreme speed or high-end spin capacity.

Performance Characteristics

  • Speed and Spin: The rubber offers moderate speed with a mild, predictable catapult effect. Spin generation is reliable and sufficient for developing loopers, though it does not reach the high-spin thresholds of elite-level equipment.
  • Control and Dwell Time: It features a medium-soft to medium-hard sponge that provides a clear, controlled feel. The moderate response ensures that the ball does not “jump” uncontrollably off the racket, facilitating precision in the short game, pushes, and blocks.
  • Surface: The topsheet is non-tacky but maintains a high level of grip, allowing for effective ball engagement without being overly sensitive to incoming spin.

Playing Style and Suitability

  • Skill Level: Highly recommended for players in the early stages of training or those moving from classic equipment who want the benefits of modern tensor technology without the volatile springiness of advanced, high-tension rubbers.
  • Versatility: The rubber performs reliably across various strokes, including flat hits, blocks, and controlled loops. It is widely considered an excellent “all-round” option that reduces unforced errors by providing a stable, predictable trajectory.
  • Durability: While the playing surface remains consistent, some users note that the edges of the topsheet may be prone to chipping if the blade contacts the table frequently.

Use it for forehand. Ordered it to gain more control and less spring effect, but I ordered the 1.8 mm. Maybe should have ordered the max version.

A great backhand rubber. It also lasts a long time, almost a full season. If you apply a booster, it improves in every way. Highly recommended.

Fairly hard and heavy, but not very responsive or bouncy, which makes keeping the ball on the table very easy. Best with handle-balanced blades or in thinner thicknesses to mitigate weight.
