I have used a 10.6 mm blade for a year now. It required more sanding than a 9 mm blade. Initially, it felt a bit heavy, but after sanding, the weight became manageable.

Compared to a carbon/balsa blade, it is less hard and produces almost no vibrations. It is slower and softer. When paired with Omega 4 Asia rubbers, I found it difficult to control most shots. Currently, I am using it with O4 Elite rubbers, which still allows for fast play.

If your playing level is at a medium level or below, it is advisable to stick with the 9 mm blade.
