Tensor 5 reviews
Really loving this rubber, especially for BH drives for counter top spin as well as BH loops. I use this rubber on my FH as well and don’t have any complaints. This rubber spins really well and for a beginner player like myself has enough speed without feeling uncontrollable.
After two weeks of training or playing 6 days a week I have settled right into this rubber and will probably use this for a long time especially on my BH.
I have this on the Andro Gauzy BL5 and this combination has helped me to gain a bunch of confidence.
The Andro GTT 45 rubber does not work effectively on the Stiga All-Round CR C-Pen blade. When used, the direction of the ball becomes unstable. For context, I am using Water-Based Glue (WBG).
Perfect rubber for all-around players.
Suited for young players, this rubber is easy to play with. It is best used on the backhand side.
GTT 45 is a tensor with minimal catapult. I use GTT 45 in 2.0 mm on my backhand on a Yasaka Sweden Classic blade (flexible, soft all-round blade).
It offers very good control in short play, receive, block, and counter. It also provides good control and spin in topspins but is not as aggressive and fast as tensors with high catapult effects.
Overall, it is an excellent backhand rubber.
