This is one of the most controllable inverted rubbers I have played with so far. I use it on the forehand side of an All+ custom blade. It has almost as much speed as my former Joola Max 450 (with 2.0 mm sponge) but offers more control.
I used it for the second time on Wednesday during a tournament, where it helped me secure a clear 2-0 victory against an opponent who used to beat me regularly. He employs an anti-spin rubber on one side and a sandwich rubber on the other. Both of these rubbers create serious problems for most of his opponents, just as they did for me when I had the Joola Maxx on my forehand.
However, that is not the case anymore. With this new rubber, I can hit all the balls as if they come from a normal inverted rubber.
Where I play, eight players use this as their favorite backhand rubber. It is truly superb.
This rubber offers some of the best control available. I have tried many rubbers, including Donic Acuda S3, Butterfly T80Fx, and Xiom Vega, and I can confidently say this one stands out.
It handles incoming spin exceptionally well and is effective for producing fast backspin. I love it!
This rubber is a good option for players at various levels due to its controllability. Personally, I have used it on both sides of my paddle, with 2.2mm on the forehand and 2.0mm on the backhand. The rubber is medium-soft but has multiple gears, allowing it to produce a decent amount of speed. In my experience, it is one of the spinniest rubbers I have used.
Control is relatively straightforward with this rubber, making it suitable for any beginner who has mastered the basic strokes. The versatility in its gears means you can play with either a lot of spin or increased speed.
During the initial hours of play, I noticed a slightly higher throw angle, which settles into a medium throw angle as you become accustomed to it.
In terms of hardness, this rubber is medium-soft; it has a firmer feel compared to the Andro Impuls Speed but is softer than the Andro Impuls. Additionally, it is relatively light.
I have been using this rubber for about a year, averaging around six hours of play each week. Only recently have I started to notice a decrease in the spin I can generate with it, which speaks to its durability.
This rubber is particularly well-suited for players who focus on spinny looping. It is an excellent choice for advanced youth players and, due to its control, can also be advantageous for blockers.
As for my playing style, I am predominantly a spinny looper on my forehand and a hitter and blocker on my backhand. However, I have found that the spin on serves is not very strong.
This is actually quite an amazing rubber. The topsheet is surprisingly well-suited for generating spin. The initial tensor bounce is present, so you will need to break it in before the short game improves.
Despite being very light, it is actually firmer than other rubbers in this weight category and is difficult to bottom out.
