I tested it on a carbon Viscaria-style blade, which did not impress me; however, when paired with an all-wood Stiga Eternity, it performed wonderfully. The sound produced during play is impressive, creating a great click.
It is worth noting that this rubber is definitely not 45° on the Euro scale. It feels softer, more in the range of 40-43° on that scale.
