It features a soft, grippy, and non-tacky topsheet paired with a medium-hard “carbo sponge,” resulting in a crisp, energetic feel. The rubber is known for its linear performance, where the speed and output accurately reflect the input force applied by the player.

Performance and Playability

• Speed and Attack: The rubber excels at drives, smashes, and aggressive counter-looping. It is highly effective for close-to-the-table play, offering significant power and a characteristic “cracking” sound upon impact.
• Spin: While it is capable of producing heavy spin, it is generally considered less spin-oriented than some other rubbers in the Vega series. It is highly effective at absorbing and redirecting incoming spin, making it a reliable choice for active blocking and flicking.
