Blade description:

The Andro Novacell OFF is a standout table tennis blade that appeals to players seeking a harmonious blend of speed and control. With its five-ply composition, this blade strikes a nice balance, combining the warmth of wood with a touch of advanced engineering, making it an excellent choice for both offensive players and all-rounders. The blade’s design provides a consistent feel, allowing players to sense the dynamics of their shots, enhancing overall performance during intense matches.

Weighing in at a medium 85 grams and boasting a thickness of 5.7 mm, the Novacell OFF is crafted for optimal maneuverability without sacrificing stability. The blade features moderate stiffness at 5.6 and hardness rated at 6.3, offering a versatile experience that caters well to varied playing styles. This flexibility enables players to expertly execute techniques, from powerful topspins to precise blocks and chops. Many users have noted that the control it offers is exceptional, allowing them to accurately place their shots regardless of the situation on the table.

For those considering alternatives, the Novacell OFF compares favorably to other blades within its category, often cited as a competitive option against more traditional blades like the Waldner Senso V2. Players have expressed that while the Novacell may lack a bit of the raw power in topspin compared to some options, its superb control and feedback make it an appealing choice for serious competitors and those looking to improve their game. Whether you are transitioning from beginner to advanced play, the Novacell OFF remains a great value for its performance capabilities.

Last 3 months tested about 10 different blades. Felt very comfortable with Novacell OFF. But took some tests finding the right rubber for. Best package for me was Hexer Powergrip max on BH and Fastarc G-1 on FH. Sensational was BH in blocking, chopping and topspin quality. Understand now that even some Pros use the same blade and rubber. In training, I could beat some better players (>1600 points german level). Will play Novacell next League season and give some additional feedback.

Update: 3 Years now play this blade with Hexer Powergrip on BH. FH I changed to long pips Sternenfall this year. Is working well near the table. Sometimes turning the bat for receive or disturbing the game. Sternenfall needs very active play.

Mine weighs 84 grams and I paired it with R47 and R42 rubbers. Control is great and I can feel any movement of the ball! This blade’s balance is in the head. The only negative is that the handle is short and thin for my hand.

The Novacell-Cell table tennis blade is suitable for beginners. It offers a solid base but may not be the best choice for advanced players. The blade has a bluish-blue color that may be appealing to some users. However, the lack of pigeonholes or other special features may limit its versatility and appeal to more experienced players. Beginners may find it slightly challenging to adjust to the blade, but with practice, they can develop good skills and techniques.
