Monster speed and spin for FZD super alc, but it’s a bit difficult to control for short balls. Overall, FZD can make an extreme high-quality ball in both BH and FH.

Purchased the penhold version and paired it with H3 Neo BS. It is definitely not a starting/intermediate blade. It has such a strong bounce even at soft shots so it requires you to have good touch/control.

However, it has some dwell time compared to other outer ALC blades (Fan zhendong alc/salc have this characteristic compared to viscaria).

In conclusion, I loved it but you need to have good technique to use it properly.

I played LGY ALC and have now changed to FZD super ALC. The handle (FL) is thinner than the LGY (FL), and the grip is bigger and flatter. The ball retention on the racquet is longer, making it easier to control. However, it is very hard to hit strongly if you don’t know how to generate force to attack, so I don’t recommend it for new players. The racket is also very flexible. I play H3 blue sponge province on the FH and Joola rhyzer 50 on BH.

Most of the comments about this blade are inaccurate. I use it with Dignics 09c on both sides. I’m amazed at how safe a racket can be with this much speed. Everything is easier and better than a regular Viscaria with the same setup. It has a very large sweet spot, a medium throw angle, and a crisp but sufficient feeling on the index finger. Many reviews claim that this blade is uncontrollable. However, I question their level and experience. As a long-time Viscaria and Lin Gaoyuan ALC user, I find that this blade has the control and feeling of the Lin Gaoyuan ALC while having significantly greater acceleration, speed, and spin than the Viscaria, Boll ALC, or FZD ALC. This blade is a killer with hard sponge hybrid rubbers because it maintains an optimal throw angle without sacrificing speed or spin. I believe the inaccurate reviews stem from using tensor rubbers with this blade. I strongly believe this blade is only suitable for hybrid rubbers like Dignics 09c, K3 Hybrid, or Rasanter C53. Please try one of these rubbers before reviewing this blade.

I was trying out this bat from a teammate for three weeks. However, I would not recommend this bat.

It is overly bouncy, uncomfortable, and uncontrollable. I had sticky new DHS PFF4 on it. When I returned the bat and put them on my Yinhe blade, it felt good. In contrast, this Fan Ze Dong blade is a waste of money.

Using it with FH Battle II and BH Victas Limber. It has a longer dwell time relative to Viscaria, hence better control. Combining it with the tackiest rubber 729 Battle II enhances its dwell time even further. With softer rubber on BH Victas Limber, it makes the high speed of the blade controllable.

I enjoy this combination for blocking, flicking, looping, and driving any kind of ball that comes my way.
