I have been using this blade with MXP and Razka 7. All seems good when playing at a certain speed, either just pushing or plainly fast, but it fails when one has to suddenly change gears.
I am comparing it with another setup of Tibhar Carbon Shot with FH Mark5 and BH Donic Sonnex JP Gold. The latter can surely shift more gears comfortably, but it fails when you are playing a touch game. That’s where Johyner II excels due to its all wood composition.
Somehow yet cannot elevate game play with either.
My Doubles partner is using this bat, Aurus Prime FH and Bluefire M2 BH, and he is very satisfied.
I tried it a few times, and I would say it’s a very good all-around blade.
It has very good control, and I would recommend it for all kinds of players.
I still remember after playing a year of basics skills with a kung fu tt bat (available in India around $5), I switched to Jonyer H-|| ($35).
It is one of the best all-round blades to play with. I used Mark V on both sides and it worked amazingly. I would say it is good for beginners. I am giving it 8 marks because it is too good.
In my opinion, you mostly won’t make a mistake with this bat. I added this bat to this Revspin website in 2022 (sounds a little funny).
Jonyer used this blade around 1975. I searched about my bat and found that it was used by Jonyer, who was a champion in that era.
Anyways, I hope I helped by uploading this review.
