Perfect control provides excellent accuracy and consistency in shots, allowing for precise placement and spin control.

Good rotation enables effortless generation of spin, enhancing the effectiveness of offensive strokes and making it difficult for opponents to return the ball.

Super quality reflects the exceptional craftsmanship and materials used in the blade’s construction, ensuring durability and longevity.

Narrow handle offers a snug and comfortable grip, suitable for players with smaller hands or who prefer a more controlled feel.

Best product from Butterfly highlights the blade’s superiority within the renowned Butterfly brand, renowned for producing high-quality table tennis equipment.

Bought from a Japanese retailer, this blade is very expensive but offers exceptional quality. I’ve owned numerous Butterfly blades, including the Super ZLC Mizutani, but the Kenta surpasses them all. It features carefully selected handmade materials that set it apart.

Despite its hard feel, the Kenta excels in generating spin, allowing you to outmaneuver your opponents. Equipping it with Rakza 7 Soft on the backhand and Fastarc G1 on the forehand will leave your opponents struggling to block your spin-laden shots. The blade’s flex contributes to the immense rotational power it produces.

It is well-suited for plastic balls and is ideal for players who prefer playing close to the table. While the price, international fees, and shipping costs may seem exorbitant, the quality of this blade justifies the investment.

The Kenta is a true masterpiece, worthy of display alongside iconic blades like the Viscaria, 9-ply Clipper, Jonyer Hinoki, and Primorac. Its exclusivity to the Japanese market has kept it relatively unknown outside Japan, but those who have experienced it understand its exceptional value.

This blade is similar to the Tibhar Spirit, but it has more flex. It is a special blade and plays very similarly to the Tibhar Spirit.

This is a superb piece of artistry from Butterfly. The quality of the blade is exceptional, and the feel is incredible.

First and foremost, the handle is slightly thinner than the TB ALC (which was excellent for me), with nearly the same speed but better control.

I recommend using Tenergry on both sides if you intend to use this blade. However, if you want to save money on rubbers, you can use Acuda, Bluefire, Xiom Vega, or Omega rubbers.

Chinese rubbers are not compatible with Butterfly blades (whenever I’ve paired a Hurricane rubber with a BTY blade, I’ve been disappointed).

If you intend to use Hurricane rubbers, I recommend the Hurricane Long 5, which is more suited for this blade. If necessary, slightly adjust the phrasing.

This blade offers exceptional control and feel. However, the handle is notably smaller compared to other blades I’ve used, which may require some adjustment. While this grants a loose movement that facilitates more spinier loops, it can be challenging to maintain control when combined with wrist movement.

Backhand flicks are effortless with this blade, especially when paired with a soft to medium sponge like the Donic Acuda S3. However, the small handle occasionally impairs my grip, but this discomfort subsides after a few practice strokes.

This blade is highly versatile and suitable for players of varying skill levels, including beginners. Its exceptional feel fosters improvement and enables players to seamlessly transition to higher levels of play. For beginners, this blade can serve as a stepping stone towards the top.

Nice blade for controlling and smashing such as Kenta Matsudaira’s style. A little bit faster than Timo Boll Spirit, regarding the stiffness of this blade. The handle of this blade is very comfortable for Asian players, because the handle is thinner and flatter than Timo Ball Spirit.
