Butterfly Kong Linghui Euro

All-wood 7 reviews

Blade description:

The Butterfly Kong Linghui Euro is a high-performance table tennis blade that caters to both aggressive playstyles and precise control. With a commendable speed rating of 8.1 and control rating of 7.5, it stands out as an excellent choice for players who thrive on offensive tactics while maintaining the ability to react effectively to their opponent’s shots. Constructed from 7 plies, this blade features an outer layer of yellow aningre wood paired with a center layer of padauk wood, offering a balanced blend of speed and touch.

Weighing in at a medium weight of 89g, the Kong Linghui Euro strikes an ideal balance that many players find comfortable for extended play. Its thickness and solidity contribute to its relatively stiff feel, rated at 5.9, which provides a substantial amount of feedback and power during strikes. This stiffness, combined with a hardness rating of 5.7, generates considerable spin, making it particularly effective with rubber types like Tenergy 80FX and Tibhar Genius Sound. Players have noted that this blade excels in smashes, delivering a satisfying sound upon effective contact.

For those seeking alternatives, blades like the Stiga Clipper or the Timo Boll Forte might be considered, though many reviewers argue that the Kong Linghui offers a unique blend of speed, control, and spin generation that is hard to match. Whether you’re engaging in loops, close-to-the-table play, or mid-distance rallies, the Butterly Kong Linghui Euro is highly recommended for its well-rounded performance and compatibility with various rubbers.

Very good, just like the old Stiga Clipper, maybe just the feeling is better. Speed is excellent and control is very good. Being quite stiff and hard, it works very well with short pips. Overall, highly recommended!

P.S. Generates a huge amount of spin with soft rubbers like Tenergy 80FX, Stiga Calibra LT Sound, or Tibhar Genius Sound. A very aggressive and controllable blade.

I used this blade with Acuda S1 on FH and S2 on BH. It is very good for hitting with a small amount of spin, and absolutely AMAZING for smashing, giving a very nice sound when you hit the ball right. It has good control.

This blade is stiff, feeling only very low vibration when hitting the ball. However, because of its heaviness, I switched to a Timo Boll Forte — FL.

Recommended to me by a Chinese province team player, this blade is well balanced and provides very good feedback. It produces a high throw, which makes backspin balls easy to loop. The blade performs well for looping from close to the table and mid-distance. However, it can be a bit heavy depending on the rubbers it is paired with.
