All-wood
When I first used this blade, I was not impressed. It lacked the power I expected, and the sound it made upon ball contact was disconcerting. However, after some time, I began to appreciate its qualities. For a carbon blade, it offers excellent control and feel.
Overall, it is a solid blade. I am currently pairing it with an unboosted commercial Hurricane 3, and the looping is remarkably consistent. I enjoy the feel of the blade in my hand.
However, I still believe it lacks power and speed compared to an ALC blade such as the Yinhe V-14 Pro. I would only recommend this blade to players who prioritize control and spin over power and speed.
This is a very good blade, especially for looping. It is slightly slower than the Viscaria, but the precision is better during flicks and backhand. To get the best of this blade and achieve a similar feel to the Viscaria, use the traditional DHS Skyline 3 boosted on the forehand and Rakza Z hard on the backhand. Serves go very deep, and the defense mechanism of this blade is very good. This blade is similar to the Xiom Stradivarius. The Donic Baum has a softer touch, whereas the Stradivarius has a stiffer touch. Overall, it is a very good blade that will not disappoint you.
Good offensive blade when a fast rubber is put on the forehand. However, a rubber with a softer sponge may be necessary to control the backhand side.
This blade is not recommended for beginners, as it may be too fast for them. However, if you are an intermediate offensive player, this blade can be a stepping stone before moving to a faster blade.
I play with the Donic Baum Esprit blade with Baracuda rubbers on both sides at maximum thickness. The blade is well-crafted and aesthetically pleasing.
Compared to the Spirit blade, the Esprit is slightly slower and softer due to the use of abachi in the 3rd and 5th layers instead of limba. It features a large head (160mm x 152mm).
My racket has a head-heavy balance, which suits my style of play. With a longer forehand swing, the head-heaviness aids in generating better acceleration. Adjusting the wording slightly enhances clarity.
DONIC Baum esprit, which weighs approximately 87 g, does not feel as heavy. Most of the weight is in the head but it does not feel very different from the weight of the handle. It has a bit of an average finish with very thin fibers of aramid-carbon out of the wood. The wood finish on the handle is very rough. The fl handle is very comfortable and feels great.
When tested with DONIC bluefire m2 in FH and Joola Xplode to BH, it has a feeling much more stiff than powerful. It was very similar to andro Super Core Carbon light off + but a bit more solid. Control was nothing bad, had a good time retention of the ball.
The speed is similar to Butterfly Timo Boll Spirit but a little slower and not so easily to the topspin, but took a heavy spin on the ball. I think the strength of this wood is in blocking. Block was very confident and could leave the ball wherever I wanted.
Away from the table, it was not bad. It was good curve ball and a speed luxury. Overall, I liked the sheet if somewhat Desepcionante finish quality of the leaf. Engeneral people recommend this wood for your game is based on active locks and close to the table game speed, and away from the table plays very well with them eh rubbers already named. I think it would be an excellent wood with tenergy rubbers 05.
Respect to the layers, having 7 layers, I think the core is in kiri. The outer layers are extremely deslgadas continues aramyd charcoal layer that has the same appearance Arylate-carbon, then follows a layer a bit thicker than the outer layer and the core width really think it is more than 60% of total thickness of the sheet that is 6 mm.
