Great All+, All blade. The fantastic aspect of it is its flexible playing style, as it’s usually counted as an attacking-allround blade. But with defensive rubbers, as long pimples, its control shines.

As I combined this blade with Butterfly FL III, 1.3mm, and Tackiness C II, 1.7mm, it was performing as an All-, Def+ blade. Backhand (BH) chops were excellent, especially near the table, due to its high control, but not too spinny as a result of blade stiffness. Forehand (FH) chops’ height was a bit high, as it’s a bit high speed in comparison with normal def blades.

Its only bold weakness as a def blade is its head size, which is regular for an attacking blade (15.6*15 cm, approximately). In fact, I wonder why Donic hasn’t produced this blade with a bigger head. Totally recommended to modern def players who seek high control and don’t want to lose attacking chances due to the low speed of their blades.

I have waited over 4 months for this blade, but it was worth the wait. This is the best offensive all-round blade I have ever had.

The speed is nowhere near the manufacturer’s quoted figure of 90. I have been using a Cayman blade for years with 1.5 Donic Akkadi Taichi on the forehand and 1.2 Piranjatec on the backhand. The Blue Feeling with the same combination is sensational.

Slightly slower than the Cayman but with much better feeling and control. Blocking and flat hits are really easy with this blade, and the LP’s are much more effective. As I don’t chop or loop, I can’t give an opinion on these strokes with this blade.
